Ongoing Project

Experiments with sound programming languages and computer music tools have resulted in a number of sound excerpts such as the CSound example listed below. At the same time we have come to the insight, that most of these tools have substantial problems in terms of expressing musical ideas. Currently, sound and music processing capabilities are integrated into the Soundium software platform, with particular focus on sequencing and time handling (e.g., local vs global vs relative time), which we regard as essential for successful music composition and sound design.
